Kitchen Sink Cookies

Kitchen Sink Cookies are made just the way they
sound:  Throw in everything but the kitchen sink.
If you have some candy canes from Christmas,
crush them and toss them in the mixing bowl.
Got some caramels left over from
  Halloween?  Unwrap the cellophane
and in they go.  You get the idea –
mix in ingredients that might taste good
to you and help empty your
always-overfilled pantry.

This recipe is great after the holidays to get rid of
all those extra baking ingredients.
Basic recipe:
 2
1/4 cups of flour

 1
tsp baking soda

 1
tsp salt

 2
sticks of softened butter

 3/4
cups sugar

 3/4
cups of brown sugar

 1
tsp vanilla extract (I use 2 teaspoons)

 2
eggs

1) Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
2) Cream butter, sugars, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl. The more you beat, the
better the cookie.
3) Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each
addition.
4) Gradually add flour mixture.

After that, mix in whatever you have laying around the house. We had mint chocolate
chunks, toffee bits, white chocolate chips and mini marshmallows.

Bake at 375 for 12ish minutes depending on size and ingredients.

Cool and enjoy.  We did.
